Scratching An Itch

It’s funny how some things take a long time to leave you. After all the double cloth I’ve worked on for the West Windows collection, you’d have thought I’d had enough, but I keep returning to the source materials. I have some lovely British blend DK I have hand dyed to match one of the window panels I used for the collection, and I’m looking forward to using it to weave some yardage for cushions. The difference is, though, I’ll be weaving single cloth (shock horror!) so hopefully that, along with weaving it at 10 end per inch, will mean I produce it fairly fast on my Ashford 4 shaft.

I’ll keep you posted of my progress…
