Slow And Steady May Win The Race…

… but it does make the athlete in question feel like they are wading through treacle at the time.
I am currently still sampling for my Final Project and I am now at that stage where I shouldn’t be sampling, I should be making. There is an underlying feeling of slight panic, overlaid by my psyche sticking her fingers in her ears and singing “La la la la la!”.
Very loudly.
I hope to God I haven’t bitten off more than I can chew. At the beginning of this month my tutor gave me a list of finished products she would like to see, and I just nodded blithely. Now we’re nearing the end of the month, I’m panicking because I’ll be lucky to have one item made for my tutorial on Saturday.
And breathe….
But I’ll keep ploughing on. Currently sampling colour colour mbinarions on the new warp, plus sampling for a different finishing technique that I want to try.
Just keep weaving. Just keep weaving.
I’ll leave you with a shot from today’s sampling. It’s growing on me.

(I have played with nearly every slider in the editing to compensate for the thunderstorm outside that has ruined the light from earlier.)
